Overview
Job Purpose To work as part of the intake team to ensure that the work schedule is achieved in a safe, productive and accurate manner, meeting quality and cost requirements. To ensure that aims are achieved and targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, whilst continuously improving systems, performance and operations.
Responsibilities
- To ensure all products are processed / graded in line with the current product specification including flower quality, stem length, head size and thickness.
- Separating varieties in a bucket.
- To report any quality concerns to your Line Leader and/or the technical team.
- Minimise the level of rework through a Right First Time approach.
- Any product that doesn’t meet the correct specifications to be highlighted to the QC team.
- To complete all production paperwork, clearly and accurately.
- To follow the label check procedure to ensure correct label usage.
- Complete pre-start checks sheets
- To follow the knife control policy.
- To ensure that correct workwear is being worn by all staff.
