The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
To be responsible for product quality, presentation, specification, packing efficiency and hygiene. To work as a member of the team to ensure that aims are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
Specific Areas of Responsibility include:
- To inform line leader or key staff of any production or quality issues which are effecting performance
- Identify and recommend any improvements areas that could help the team achieve the lines maximum efficiency
- Assist your line leader, team members to operate equipment as required

- Reduce all waste type (See Flamingo LEAN)
- To ensure all products are packed in line with the current product specification / quality contracts including; flower quality, Price labelling, packaging and box ends or any agreed variance as instructed by the line Leader
- Pay particular attention to line output, including bouquet length, spread, trim, head and stem level.
- To report any quality concerns to the Line leader or QA Team
- Minimise the level of rework through a Right First Time approach.
- Any product that doesn’t meet the correct specifications or is an over pack should be either re-worked or unpacked in the agreed time span.
- To follow the label check procedure, ensuring correct label usage.
- To follow the knife control policy.
- To ensure you are wearing the correct work wear
- To follow all standard operating procedures (SOP’s)/Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
