The Line Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the production/decant lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. They guide team members, monitor workflow, resolve issues promptly, and enforce operational procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to maintain smooth line operations and meet production/decant targets.
Dimensions of the Job:
- Responsible for controlling all aspects of labelling/production and/or decant processes and controls within the company’s existing policies/procedures.
- Ensures delivery consistently to the highest standards and can train other line leaders.
- Manages data in Prophet, Marco and RedZone systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
General Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the Health & Safety Act and its implications to you, your colleagues and the company.
- Adhering to the Company’s Hygiene standards as detailed in the Company Handbook.
- To ensure efficiency targets per hour standards are met and are improved, SIC boards to be filled out to the correct standard and tracker is completed in a timely fashion.
- To ensure all produce is packed/decanted in line with the current product specification.
Experience:
- Food processing experience is desirable.
- Must have a flexible approach to work.
