About the Role

Flamingo Flowers is looking for skilled and enthusiastic operatives to join our production team in Sandy.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in bouquet making, flower handling, packing, or production environments who take pride in delivering high-quality products while working efficiently as part of a team.

You will play an important role in creating beautiful bouquets and floral products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, sleeve, wrap, and label bouquets to customer specifications.
  • Ensure flower placement, bouquet presentation, and product quality meet required standards.
  • Replace damaged or poor-quality flowers and report ongoing quality issues.
  • Work with team members to achieve production and performance targets.
  • Operate equipment, including guillotines, safely and in accordance with procedures.
  • Supply workstations with materials to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Check date codes, labels, and product specifications for accuracy.
  • Segregate waste and support waste reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with training and supporting new team members.
  • Follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean and organised work areas in line with the company's "Clean as You Go" policy.

  • Experience in bouquet making, flower handling, packing, manufacturing, or a similar production environment is desirable.
  • Good level of English, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
