About the Role
Flamingo Flowers is looking for hardworking and reliable Boxing Operatives to join our production team in Sandy.
This is a fast‑paced role where you will be responsible for ensuring products are boxed, labelled, handled, and stored correctly while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Box and label products accurately according to customer specifications.
- Ensure the correct box sizes and packaging materials are used.
- Handle products carefully to maintain quality and presentation standards.
- Secure products to pallets and scan items through RFID portals.
- Move and locate boxed products correctly within cold store areas.
- Identify products using labels and ensure all product information is accurate.
- Report quality concerns, damaged products, or stock issues promptly.
- Support productivity targets and contribute to a Right First Time approach.
- Follow boxing procedures to minimise damage, waste, and rework.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and food safety.
- Assist with training and supporting new team members when required.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, Safe Systems of Work, and PPE requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Good level of English, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
