LOCATION: Lancing, West Sussex

SALARY: 33k basic, 40k OTE + Benefits

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Parts Manager to join our clients West Sussex based dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient running and profitability of the parts department. You will oversee the parts sales operations, stock control, and ensure operational efficiencies are achieved. The role will involve working closely with various departments to maximise retail and workshop trade deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise parts sales through market research, analysis, and collaboration with service and sales teams.
  • Ensure sales objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure all parts sales are profitable, meeting the required gross profit margins in line with the department budget.
  • Monitor stock levels to meet targets, manage excess stock, and ensure budgeted stock turn figures are met.
  • Ensure accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices and manage overdue accounts with trade customers.
  • Train and motivate parts department staff, ensuring all staff meet company and manufacturer training standards.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service, achieving high scores on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Ensure good communication within the parts department and across other departments.

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of parts stock control and parts department management.
  • Understanding of financial KPIs within the parts department.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Good knowledge of trade business and operations.
  • Experience working with Power UCS (desirable).
