Overview
ROLE: Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Heathrow, West London
SALARY: 40k Basic – 54k OTE (uncapped) + Company benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Saturday morning rota (1 in 3 paid at 1.5)
Responsibilities
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing and maintaining modern and varied vehicles, including cars, vans, and other light commercial vehicles.
- Performing major and minor repairs to vans.
- Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.
- Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
- Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
- Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using appropriate documentation and paperwork, providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
- Carrying out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
- Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales.
Requirements
- Brand accreditation in diagnostics.
- Level 3 qualification desired, however, we will consider time served applications over 5 years with proven experience.
- Several years\\\’ experience of working on light commercial vehicles.
- UK driving licence essential.
