Flame Recruitment is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our client's main dealership.
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll safely prepare our customers’ cars for the road ahead. You’ll care about every detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job. Above all, you’ll want to be part of a capable, motivated team who feel the same way. You’ll get the chance to work on an incredible range of models, developing your skills and staying up to date with the very latest in vehicle technology.
Duties:- Perform maintenance, repairs and/or diagnostics on a full range of passenger cars.
- Maximising efficiency, while always maintaining company and industry standards and benchmarks.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair methods.
- Utilise Company and VAG systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out.
- Providing your colleagues and our customers with highly detailed explanations of work required, or work carried out, through face to face and video communications.
- Expand your knowledge through the completion of training modules, as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level.
- Show respect to your colleagues and maintain your work area to company standards, ensuring an excellent and safe work environment.
- A fully trained and experienced Service or Diagnostic Technician.
- Certified to NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent to a Level 3 manufacturers qualification.
- Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications are an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
- In possession of own tools.
- Holder of a full UK driving license.
- Minimum of 25 days holiday pro rata.
