Location: Finchley

Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week

Salary: up to 32k basic plus company benefits

About the Position

Here at Flame Recruitment, we are delighted to be working on behalf of a private inclusive Nursery based in Kilburn, who are looking to employ a Deputy Room Leader or a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse looking to progress in their early years journey. The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy nursery setting and will deliver high standards of care, child development and learning for the nursery children in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Passionate, nurturing, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check on update service (or willingness to undergo one)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of early years staff to deliver outstanding care and education
  • Create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support and monitor the progress of children, including those with SEN
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessments, EHCPs, and reviews as required
  • Promote safeguarding and ensure welfare requirements are met at all times
