About the Position
Here at Flame Recruitment, we are delighted to be working on behalf of a private inclusive Nursery based in Kilburn, who are looking to employ a Deputy Room Leader or a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse looking to progress in their early years journey. The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy nursery setting and will deliver high standards of care, child development and learning for the nursery children in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Passionate, nurturing, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enhanced DBS check on update service (or willingness to undergo one)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of early years staff to deliver outstanding care and education
- Create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support and monitor the progress of children, including those with SEN
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessments, EHCPs, and reviews as required
- Promote safeguarding and ensure welfare requirements are met at all times
