LOCATION: Basingstoke
SALARY: 42k basic, plus 6k bonus + overtime + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week. 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Flame Recruitment is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients teams in Hampshire. Working with a dedicated and knowledgeable team, in a very well-established and reputable main dealer. Our technicians are driven to be the best they can be. They are enthusiastic, professional and are always looking to learn new techniques, allowing them to work confidently with the very latest technologies.
Duties
- Perform maintenance, repairs and / or diagnostics on a full range of passenger cars.
- Maximising efficiency, while always maintaining company and industry standards and benchmarks.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair methods.
- Utilise Company and VAG systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out.
- Providing your colleagues and our customers with highly detailed explanations of work required, or work carried out, through face to face and video communications.
- Expand your knowledge through the completion of training modules, as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level.
- To show respect to your colleagues and maintain your work area to company standards, ensuring an excellent and safe work environment.
You
- You will be a fully trained and experienced Service or Diagnostic Technician.
- Certified to NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to a Level 3 manufacturers qualification.
- Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications are an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Own tools
- Full UK driving license
