LOCATION: Wambrook Taunton
SALARY: £32,760 overtime benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.30. NO SATURDAY ROTA!
Parts Advisor required for a main dealer in Taunton! Our client, a well-known and successful independent workshop, is seeking a Parts Advisor.
Duties of Parts Advisor:
- Greet workshop staff and assist with their needs for parts and accessories both in-person and via telephone/email.
- Help our Workshops identify the correct parts for repairs, provide quotations and advise on product selection, availability and pricing.
- Take orders from our workshops, raise purchase order numbers and handle invoices and receipts.
- Receive, unpack and store parts.
- Maintain stock levels, perform stock checks and identify when replacement stock is needed.
- Keep accurate records, pursue warranty claims and maintain a clean and organised parts department.
About you, the successful Parts Advisor:
- Previous experience as a parts advisor in the motor trade.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Good knowledge of car parts and will be competent looking up parts on the electronic parts catalogue.
