ROLE: Automotive Technician / MOT Tester
LOCATION: Warrington
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.30. 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30 - 12.30
SALARY: up to 40k plus benefits
Flame Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician / MOT Tester for our client's main dealership in Warrington. You will need to have previous experience as a Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Mechanic, Car Mechanic, or MOT Tester in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop. You will also need a full UK driving licence and tools.
Duties:
- Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
- Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed.
- Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
- Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example.
About you:
- Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications.
- Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
