ROLE: Parts Advisor

LOCATION: Wambrook Taunton

SALARY: £32,760 + overtime + benefits

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.30. NO SATURDAY ROTA!

Parts Advisor required for a main dealer in Taunton! Our client, a well-known and successful independent workshop, is seeking a Parts Advisor.

Duties of Parts Advisor:

  • Greet workshop staff and assist with their needs for parts and accessories both in-person and via telephone/email.
  • Help our Workshops identify the correct parts for repairs, provide quotations and advise on product selection, availability and pricing.
  • Take orders from our workshops, raise purchase order numbers and handle invoices and receipts.
  • Receive, unpack and store parts.
  • Maintain stock levels, perform stock checks and identify when replacement stock is needed.
  • Keep accurate records, pursue warranty claims and maintain a clean and organised parts department.

About you, the successful Parts Advisor:

  • Previous experience as a parts advisor in the motor trade.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Good knowledge of car parts and will be competent looking up parts on the electronic parts catalogue.
