About the Opportunity

Flame Health Optometry is recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent Optical and Hearing care provider that is seeking a Practice Manager to join its well-established practice in Weymouth, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Optical Advisor, Dispensing Optician or Assistant Manager, retail professional looking to take the next step into a Practice Management position. Full support, mentoring and development will be provided for the right individual, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with leadership experience and the ambition to progress their career. The practice benefits from an established Assistant Manager and Sales Advisor, providing a strong foundation and supportive team environment for a new manager to build upon.

The Role

The Practice Manager will support the day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with the wider management team to ensure the branch operates efficiently, profitably and to the highest professional standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the management of daily practice operations
  • Supervising, motivating and developing team members
  • Driving business growth and commercial performance
  • Ensuring excellent customer and patient care standards
