Flame Health’s Audiology division is recruiting for an ambitious and self‑motivated Audiologist / HAD in the Gloucester area to join one of the leading optical/hearing care groups. If you’re searching for a new opportunity with a family‑oriented and quality-focused business, this is the role for you! Our client is looking for audiologists who want to make a difference and be different, working collaboratively to drive excellence in clinical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Use audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to agreed HPC and Company standards, ensuring current calibration requirements are met.
  • Select and demonstrate hearing aids, whenever and wherever appropriate, to agreed standards and carry out the fitting of hearing aids.
  • Complete service appointments and rehabilitation appointments and re‑fitting of hearing aids as necessary and on time.
  • Take aural impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids to agreed standards.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Qualified HAD or Pre‑Registered HAD
  • Hold current HCPC licence
  • Hold current driving licence
  • IT skills at a level that enables the use of the companies laptop and audiometric equipment
  • Time and job management abilities to allow a well-planned and structured approach to workload
