Optical Practice Manager – Solihull / West Midlands

Flame Health Optometry are working with a reputable Independent Optical and Hearing company who are seeking an Optical Practice Manager to join them in their practice in Solihull area, Birmingham.

As a Practice Manager you will be responsible for the running of the store working within a fully comprehensive management role, this will include supervising optical & Hearing Care staff, driving business growth and ensuring the smooth running and profit of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the practice and the team
  • Work to store/company targets
  • Ensure customers receive an excellent service
  • Provide training with support
  • Stay up to date with the latest optical/Hear Care developments

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be both technically and commercially aware with good managerial skills in order to drive an efficient and effective branch. They will manage a small team as this is a small branch, so would suit a good all-rounder, and someone who could be mentored if this is their first managerial role. Candidates from non-optical backgrounds such as experienced Retail Managers or those with Optical advisor experience looking to progress to management will be considered for this role.
