Pharmacy ACT Jobs Oxfordshire
Flame Health Pharmacy are currently working on behalf of our expanding client to recruit a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician or Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) for a fast-paced and forward-thinking pharmacy operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified ACT to take on a critical role in ensuring patient safety, supporting the efficient running of the dispensary, and driving pharmacy excellence in a highly dynamic environment.
The Role β Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately check dispensed prescriptions under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet dispatch timelines and patient needs
- Manage near-miss logs, action plans, and support continuous safety improvements
- Work with the Risk and Safety team to investigate and resolve incidents
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in training, coaching, and developing the pharmacy workforce
- Liaise with the Supply Chain team to help manage inventory and optimise stock control
- Take ownership of day-to-day dispensary workflow to maximise operational efficiency
- Innovate and contribute ideas that enhance the patient journey and internal systems
