Flame Health Pharmacy are recruiting for an experienced Responsible Pharmacist to join our client in Southport and help to lead a well‑established, successful pharmacy team. Our client provides expert health and wellbeing advice to customers in the community and what unites them is their passion to help and support people.
You will work closely with your regular community patients and have a full team of staff to support your efforts and help you achieve your goals. The successful candidate will of course be passionate about healthcare and pharmacy services and want to help others achieve the goal of being the best. As a professional you will have the confidence to provide expert health advice and guidance, whilst being able to demonstrate great support and communication skills to your team.
Responsibilities to include:
- Dispense medications to patients whilst checking patient’s prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
- Ensuring legal compliance in the pharmacy, reviewing labels, doses, and procedures.
- Provide a range of Pharmacy services.
- Help and advise patients managing long term conditions.
- Manage and supervise pharmacy support staff.
- Provide information to patients on how to get the maximum benefit from medicines.
- Keep up to date with current pharmacy practice.
