Overview of the Optometrist Job in Central London – Optometry Jobs Greater London. This is an independent, award-winning practice seeking a Contact Lens Specialist Optometrist for full-time or part-time work (minimum 2–3 days per week).
Salary up to £75,000 per annum + bonus (excellent OTE). Flame Health Optometry is partnering with a highly respected, award-winning independent optical practice in the heart of Central London, recognised for its exceptional clinical standards and patient-first philosophy.
The Role:
- This is a specialist, patient-focused position, ideal for an optometrist with strong clinical experience and a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, managing complex cases and contributing to the continued development of the practice’s specialist services.
- The practice has a growing demand for advanced contact lens care, including orthokeratology (Ortho-K), myopia management, and specialty lens fitting.
Key Requirements:
- GOC-registered Optometrist
- Strong clinical and patient-centred approach
- Experience with contact lenses, including orthokeratology (Ortho-K), highly desirable
- Hospital, specialist, or extended-role experience advantageous
- IP qualification preferred (but not essential)
- Moorfields experience or strong ophthalmology links welcomed
- Available to work full-time or a minimum of 2–3 days per week
