Flame Health’s Optometry Division is working with a well-established independent optical practice to recruit an Optometrist for a full-time, permanent position across two practices in the Durham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys variety in their working week, combining two well-run practices with a loyal patient base and strong local reputation.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality eye examinations with 30-minute testing times, allowing for a thorough and patient-focused approach. The role is split across two sites, offering a varied working environment while maintaining consistency in standards and patient care. Working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with one Saturday worked per month, for which a weekday off is provided. The clinical environment includes access to OCT technology at the main site, supporting accurate diagnosis and enhanced patient care. You will be supported by an experienced team, ensuring clinics run smoothly and efficiently.
