Flame Health have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a passionate and clinically skilled Audiologist to join a progressive and patient-centred independent hearing care organisation. Highly regarded for delivering exceptional diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology services across a network of modern private hospitals in the Kent and Sussex regions. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who thrives in a professional medical setting and takes pride in providing truly individualised patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for both adults and children.
- Develop tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans based on diagnostic results.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and Bluetooth accessories, providing full patient aftercare.
- Offer counselling and education to patients and families on hearing health and device management.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, ENT specialists, and hospital teams to deliver holistic care.
- Maintain meticulous clinical records in line with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including tinnitus and vestibular rehabilitation training.
About You
- Qualified Audiologist with BSc, MSc or AuD in Audiology.
- HCPC registration essential; BAA or AHCS membership desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience working with both adult and paediatric patients.
- Strong grasp of auditory anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and passionate about improving hearing health outcomes.
