A leading and growing independent optical group is seeking a Practice Coach to support and develop multiple practices across its UK network. With a strong and expanding footprint, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
This role is central to driving operational excellence, improving performance, and supporting teams to achieve commercial success. You will work closely with senior leadership and Practice Managers to enhance efficiency, strengthen processes, and deliver outstanding patient experiences.
Key Objectives- Maintain regular communication with senior leadership and Practice Managers to ensure smooth operations across practices
- Develop, implement, and uphold business standards and best practices
- Improve operational efficiency by refining processes and procedures
- Support revenue growth at both individual practice and group level
- Lead, motivate, and support practice teams in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver practice development plans and resolve operational challenges
- Monitor and analyse performance data to drive productivity and service excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and processes
- Track and improve key KPIs such as sales, conversion rates, average transaction value, and service uptake
- Support implementation of commercial initiatives, promotions, and campaigns
- Coach Practice Managers on financial performance, sales strategies, and KPI management
- Identify underperformance and provide targeted coaching and escalation where required
- Proven experience in practice development and performance improvement
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to delegate effectively while maintaining operational oversight
- Experience using practice management systems and adapting to new technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPI data and drive action
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
