Flame Health Audiology has been instructed to support the appointment of a Lead Audiologist for a national mobile role based in London. This position offers a salary and benefits package reflective of experience, and will suit a qualified audiologist who wants to combine strong clinical practice with the opportunity to shape a new service from its earliest stages.
This is a predominantly mobile role, with travel across the UK clinic network to support the launch and development of hearing care services. Working closely with the Directors, you will help define the hearing care strategy, advise on clinic set‑up, equipment selection, testing environments and operational processes, and take a lead on delivering comprehensive hearing assessments and patient care.
As the service grows, you will also support hearing aid provision where appropriate, contribute to marketing and patient engagement activity, and help develop clinical protocols that uphold governance and compliance standards. There is also scope to train and mentor future team members, identify opportunities to improve the patient experience, and act as the clinical lead for the hearing care division.
Our client is a highly respected UK healthcare provider with an established network of clinics and an annual patient base of over 120,000. They are now extending their services into hearing care across the country, creating a new division with meaningful scope for clinical input and operational influence. The organisation has an outstanding reputation for patient care and is offering the chance to work closely with senior leadership at a formative stage in the service’s development. This is a role for someone who values both hands‑on delivery and the opportunity to help build a service with long‑term potential.
You will be a qualified audiologist, with HCPC or RCCP registration, or eligibility to register. The role calls for significant experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing care, together with previous exposure to a senior, lead or management position.
We are looking for someone with strong commercial awareness, the ability to spot growth opportunities, and experience of developing services or supporting business expansion. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the confidence to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leaders. A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and flexibility to travel nationally across the UK are also important.
This role will suit an audiologist who is ready to step into a broader remit and take ownership of something new. It will appeal to someone who wants to combine clinical standards with strategic input, and who is motivated by building a service rather than maintaining an established one.
The role is based in London, with national travel as part of the remit. The location offers straightforward access to the wider capital and its transport network.
