Flame Health Optometry are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and clinically skilled Contact Lens Optician to join a well-established optical practice within a patient-focused, professional environment. About the Role

As a Contact Lens Optician, you'll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives the best possible vision care. You'll have the clinical freedom to recommend the right contact lenses and aftercare plans while providing a highly personalised and informative service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive contact lens consultations, fittings, and aftercare appointments
  • Provide expert advice on contact lens materials, designs, and suitability for various prescriptions and lifestyles
  • Educate patients on lens hygiene, insertion/removal techniques, and maintenance
  • Work alongside Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Manage and maintain accurate patient records in line with professional and clinical standards
  • Support in delivering specialist contact lens services, including toric, multifocal, and RGP fittings
  • Stay up to date with new contact lens technologies and market innovations
  • Assist with product recommendations and stock management
  • Deliver a premium level of customer care and communication at all times

  • Fully qualified and GOC-registered Contact Lens Optician
