Job Overview:

Flame Health Optometry have an exciting opportunity for an Optical Sales Assistant to join this patient-focused optical practice based in the Central Glasgow area. The practice is part of a group that is one of the UK’s leading opticians and continues to go from strength to strength.

Your main responsibilities will be to work as part of a successful team ensuring that you perform to the best of your abilities. This will mean providing a high level of customer service at all times and to every patient in this busy practice. It is important that you have excellent communication skills, which you will use to build rapport with customers and colleagues over the phone and face to face.

Optical advisor duties to include:

  • Handle enquiries from patients.
  • Friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Display a friendly, polite and welcoming telephone manner.
  • Registration and booking in patients attending the practice for eye examinations.
  • Working as part of a team and dealing with queries rapidly, efficiently and professionally.
  • Making sure patients are made comfortable and kept informed within the practice.
  • Efficiently perform pre-examinations.
  • Dispensing.
