The Opportunity
Flame Health’s Audiology Division is currently recruiting for a HCPC-registered Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to join a leading UK national hearing care provider in the Glasgow area. Candidate Profile
Private hearing care experience is preferred, particularly for candidates who can demonstrate a strong balance of patient‑centred care and commercial success. However, NHS‑trained or newly qualified Audiologists will also be considered, provided they can demonstrate the potential to succeed in a private, performance‑driven environment. You must be HCPC registered to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments in line with HCPC standards, BSHAA codes of practice, and company clinical protocols
- Advise patients on and dispense appropriate remedial hearing solutions
- Manage and process all sales and clinical administration accurately and compliantly
- Maintain high‑quality patient records using the company CMS system
- Deliver professional aftercare services and resolve patient queries promptly
- Provide accurate reports and performance data to support business planning
- Maintain up‑to‑date clinical, audiometric and product knowledge through training and CPD
- Contribute market insight and identify local commercial opportunities
- Ensure all activity aligns with HCPC regulations, ethical standards and company policies
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist (including Pre‑Registered candidates)
- Current HCPC registration
- Full UK driving licence
- Member of BSHAA or willing to join
- Strong IT skills, including use of audiometric equipment and clinical systems
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A professional, patient‑focused approach with commercial awareness
