Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist for a clinic-based role in Eastbourne and Bexhill. This is a part-time position with weekend working essential, and full-time applicants are still encouraged to apply as a full-time post could be created for the right person. The salary is £40,000 pro rata, plus car allowance, bonus and an extensive company benefits package.

You will manage your own clinics and provide complete hearing care from assessment through to fitting and aftercare. Day to day, this will include otoscopy, pure tone audiometry, impression taking, hearing aid programming and fine-tuning in line with BSA recommendations and company protocols. You will use an electronic patient management system to maintain accurate clinical records and ensure your work meets regulatory, professional and health and safety standards. The role also includes recommending suitable products from a full portfolio, supporting hearing care promotion within the clinic environment, and working to appointment activity goals, key performance indicators and revenue targets.

You must hold a BSc in Audiology or an equivalent qualification in Hearing Aid Dispensing from a recognised provider and be fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience is required. You should have a strong understanding of audiological principles, consistently high clinical audit performance and the ability to achieve commercial objectives. Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to professional development is essential. Strong written and verbal communication, good administration skills, attention to detail, and a professional, organised manner are all important.
