Flame Health Audiology are working with an established, high-end independent healthcare group that is continuing to grow, develop and diversify its Audiology business. They are now looking to recruit an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser in Dundee to support their Audiology Team working across their network of practices in the area.

Candidate Criteria:

  • HCPC registered Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
  • Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Audiology within an Optical environment
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care
  • Enthusiastic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Carry out hearing assessments, programming devices and provide the best possible customer experience. Wax removal if required.

Duties include:

  • Carrying out thorough examinations to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
  • Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
  • Carrying out wax removal as required (training will be provided if necessary)
  • Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patients' hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
  • Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow-up appointments
  • Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
