Key Responsibilities
- Offering a friendly welcome and assisting patients throughout their visit
- Coordinating appointment bookings and preparing clinics for smooth operation
- Helping patients choose the right frames and lens options to suit their needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Managing orders, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records
- Carrying out fittings, collections, repairs, and adjustments
- Supporting the team with general practice upkeep and organisation
What We’re Looking For
- Previous optical experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of lens types, coatings, and frame styling to give confident, clear advice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional manner
- A reliable and organised team player who thrives in a busy, varied role
- Basic IT skills are helpful, but full training can be provided
- A full driving licence is an advantage
