The predicted salary is between 26000 - 27000 £ per year.

A full-time role (part-time may be considered) from Monday to Friday with 40 hours available at £12.50 per hour.

Flame Health are currently looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to work within a busy, up-to-date dental surgery based in Melton Mowbray. This is a well-run, professional practice with a friendly, qualified team in place to support you now and in your future dental career.

Main Purpose of the role

To provide clinical assistance to practice clinicians while maintaining high standards within this busy dental practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the clinical environment and equipment
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures
  • Assist in dental charting and oral tissue assessment
  • Prepare, mix, and handle dental biomaterials
  • Provide chairside support during treatments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Prepare for and assist with dental radiography, including processing radiographs
  • Monitor, support, and reassure patients
  • Provide appropriate advice to patients
  • Support the team in medical emergencies
  • Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed
