Are you a customer service superstar with a passion for eye care? Do you have experience as an optical assistant or technician, with the ability to pre-screen patients and help run a busy clinic? We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to join an Independent Practice in Cobham.

As an optical assistant/technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service possible. You’ll assist with patient care, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and providing administrative support. You’ll also be responsible for pre-screening patients, using the latest technology and techniques to gather essential diagnostic information to support the optometrists.

In addition to your optical assistant duties, you’ll also help run a busy clinic, ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilised and prepared for use, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and assisting with day-to-day administration.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in optical assistant roles and pre-screening, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. However, full training will be provided so experience is not essential. You’ll also be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
