Flame Health Pharmacy are recruiting for an Accuracy Checking Technician in the Essex area for a well-established small independent pharmacy. Our client is a company that puts customers at the heart of everything they do. This popular independent pharmacy is looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician to go beyond just performing normal duties; they are looking for someone who can bring commercial awareness and flair to their pharmacy and, of course, deliver exceptional service.

As an ACT, you will be supporting care homes, checking prescriptions and being an integral part of this small team to help run the pharmacy.

Your role:

  • Dispensing prescription medication and other medical products to patients under the direction of the pharmacist.
  • Prepare and check prescriptions.
  • Help support other junior members of the team.
  • Supply patients with information and help within the pharmacy.
  • Help monitor the relevant regulations and pharmacy policies.
  • Liaise with local healthcare providers.

About you:

  • Must be a qualified ACT.
  • Experience of working in a community pharmacy.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work well within a team.
