The role is based within a community-focused optical practice where the priority is to deliver excellent clinical care, strong patient relationships, and a high-quality customer experience. You will be responsible for providing eye examinations, contact lens services, clinical advice, and patient-focused recommendations while working closely with the wider store team to support both patient needs and business objectives.

This role is based in Wales, where the Wales General Ophthalmic Services framework supports Optometrists in delivering enhanced eye care services at primary care level. Optometrists with relevant higher accreditations may have the opportunity to utilise their skills within the Welsh primary eye care framework. Candidates who are not yet WGOS registered can be supported with guidance around the required training and registration routes.

The role offers a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and clinical qualifications. Experience or interest in WGOS, higher accreditations, contact lens services, or enhanced clinical services would be advantageous, although support and guidance may be available depending on experience.
