Flame Health’s Audiology division is recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Audiologist / HAD in the Beccles area to join one of the leading optical/hearing care groups. If you’re searching for a new opportunity with a family-oriented and quality-focused business, this is the role for you!
Our client is looking for audiologists who want to make a difference and be different, working collaboratively to drive excellence in clinical standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Using audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to agreed HPC and company standards, ensuring current calibration requirements are met.
- Selecting and demonstrating hearing aids, whenever and wherever appropriate, to agreed standards and carrying out the fitting of hearing aids.
- Completing service appointments and rehabilitation appointments and re-fitting of hearing aids as necessary and on time.
- Taking aural impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids to agreed standards.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Qualified HAD or Pre Registered HAD
- Hold current HCPC licence
- Hold current driving licence
- IT skills at a level that enables the use of the company's laptop and audiometric equipment
- Time and job management abilities to allow a well-planned and structured approach to workload
