They are seeking an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser in Edinburgh to join their Audiology team across various practices in the area.
Candidate Criteria:
- HCPC registered Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser with a valid driving license
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and promote Audiology within an optical environment
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care
- Enthusiastic and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in hearing assessments, device programming, and providing excellent customer service
- Wax removal skills (training provided if needed)
- Perform thorough examinations of the outer and inner ear health
- Conduct hearing assessments to evaluate the need for hearing correction
- Perform wax removal as required
- Advise on suitable hearing systems based on patient needs and lifestyle
- Program hearing aids and support patients through follow-up rehabilitation
- Manage hearing clinics, schedule appointments, liaise with suppliers regarding products, technology, and stock management
