Flame Health’s Audiology division is recruiting for an ambitious and self‑motivated Audiologist / HAD in the Dorset area to join one of the leading optical/hearing care groups. If you’re searching for a new opportunity with a family‑orientated and quality‑focused business, this is the role for you!
Our client is looking for audiologists who want to make a difference and be different, working collaboratively to drive excellence in clinical standards.
Use audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to agreed HPC and Company standards, ensuring current calibration requirements are met. Select and demonstrate hearing aids, whenever and wherever appropriate, to agreed standards and carry out the fitting of hearing aids. Complete service appointments and rehabilitation appointments and re‑fitting of hearing aids as necessary and on time. Take aural impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids to agreed standards.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Qualified HAD or Pre Registered HAD
- Hold current HCPC licence
- Hold current driving licence
- IT skills at a level that enables the use of the company’s laptop and audiometric equipment
- Time and job management abilities to allow a well‑planned and structured approach to workload
