The Role
This varied clinical position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive hearing care services while working closely with a patient-focused multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting routine diagnostic assessments for adult and paediatric ENT referrals
- Performing comprehensive adult audiological assessments and rehabilitation
- Dispensing private hearing aids using Real Ear Measurements and aided speech discrimination testing
- Assessing and fitting extended wear hearing aid solutions, with training provided where required
- Performing microsuction ear wax removal procedures
- Providing high-quality aftercare and ongoing patient support
- Supporting specialist services including vestibular diagnostics, tinnitus rehabilitation and paediatric audiology, depending on experience
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to professional standards
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum BSc or MSc in Audiology
- Registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser and/or Clinical Scientist, or registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Audiologist
- Competent in microsuction ear wax removal
- Committed to delivering outstanding patient-centred care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness combined with excellent clinical judgement
- Experience in vestibular assessment, tinnitus management or paediatric audiology would be advantageous but is not essential
