Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Twickenham, South West London and surrounding areas.

Offering up to £50,000, monthly commission and a company car, this position suits an experienced dispenser who combines strong private sales ability with a patient-centred approach to hearing care.

The role is carried out on weekdays only, with no weekend work.

About the Job

Working from patients’ homes, you will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss and provide comprehensive audiological testing and hearing care.

You will provide structured aftercare, use subjective and objective outcome measures, and apply Real Ear Measurement to validate and verify fittings.

Ear care and wax removal may also form part of the service, with appropriate training provided.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will make autonomous clinical decisions while receiving logistical and clinical support from central teams.

  • What We Are Looking For
  • You must be registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, with suitable training provided where required.
  • You will need experience in hearing aid dispensing and private sales, together with the ability to work within your clinical knowledge, recognise professional boundaries and seek advice when appropriate.
  • The position requires a confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and the ability to navigate multiple locations.
  • You should communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and other parties.
  • You should use digital systems accurately.
  • You should remain calm under pressure.
  • You should take a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Organisation, multitasking, reflective practice, clinical teamwork and a commitment to continuing professional development are essential, including maintaining CPD records in line with HCPC requirements.
