Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit an Optical Practice Manager for an onsite position in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, offering £31,000–£32,000 per annum plus performance-based incentives. This role will suit an experienced retail manager, particularly someone with experience in optics, audiology or healthcare, who is confident leading people and delivering excellent customer service.
As Optical Practice Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the branch, supporting its commercial performance while ensuring customers receive expert advice and a high standard of care. You will lead, motivate and develop the team through training, coaching and performance management, while overseeing stock, compliance and operational efficiency. Working closely with Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists, you will help maintain professional and clinical standards across the service. The role also involves meeting sales targets, identifying opportunities for business growth, building relationships within the local community and ensuring company policies, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements are followed. Basic IT and point-of-sale systems will form part of your daily activities.
