Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to work with a highly regarded independent practice in the Milton Keynes area to recruit a GOC-registered Optometrist for a part-time, Saturday-only position. Offering a salary of £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, this role will suit a confident and experienced clinician who values high standards, patient care, and a well-supported working environment.

This Optometrist position is centered on delivering a thorough clinical service in a practice known for its strong reputation and premium eyewear offering. You will work within a successful, supportive team, carrying out 50-minute eye tests, completing your own pre-screening, and providing a high level of customer service and aftercare to every patient. The role sits within a newly extended setting that is described as comfortable, spacious, and well run, with full support and the latest technology and equipment. The practice also offers exposure to specialist areas including dry eye, myopia management, IPL, independent prescribing, vision therapy, hospital involvement, contact lens work, and more.

The practice has recently been extended and offers a unique, comfortable environment for both patients and staff. A current GOC registration is essential for this role. Our client is looking for a confident and experienced Optometrist who can deliver a high level of care, work accurately within a clinical setting, and contribute positively to a team-based practice. You should be comfortable providing detailed eye examinations, conducting pre-screening, and maintaining strong standards of patient service throughout the testing journey. A friendly, collaborative manner is important, along with the ability to work effectively alongside a skilled optical team.
