Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a Hearing Aid Dispenser for a domiciliary role covering Epsom and surrounding areas. Offering up to £50,000 plus monthly commission and a company car, this weekday-only position suits an HCPC-registered professional who combines strong clinical expertise with private sales experience and a commitment to patient-centred hearing care.

As a domiciliary audiologist, you will manage a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss, providing audiological testing and support in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pure tone audiometry masking where required
  • Testing for non-organic and noise-induced hearing loss
  • Taking aural impressions
  • Selecting and fitting appropriate ear moulds and hearing instruments
  • Programming devices
  • Delivering structured aftercare and using subjective and objective outcome measures, alongside Real Ear Measurement, to verify and validate fittings
  • Ear care and wax removal
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Infection control
  • Accurate use of digital systems

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work autonomously while receiving logistical and clinical support from central teams.

Our client provides domiciliary hearing care, supporting adults with hearing loss in the comfort of their own homes. The role offers professional autonomy alongside central logistical and clinical support, enabling practitioners to use their expertise while contributing to a wider clinical team.

The package includes a basic salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, monthly commission, a company car, private medical insurance, life assurance at four times salary, a contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to health and wellbeing initiatives. HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser is required, with appropriate training provided as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in private sales
  • Ability to provide safe, effective audiological care within professional knowledge and limitations
  • Confident driver with at least two years’ driving experience and ability to find multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organisation, and ability to multitask
  • Capacity to work calmly under pressure, pragmatic approach to problem solving, reflect on practice, maintain appropriate CPD records, and recognise when to seek advice
  • Commitment to clinical governance, infection control, health and safety, and ongoing learning
