About the Job
Around 90% of the role is expected to involve home visits across a local territory. You will carry out hearing tests, fittings and associated services, with appointments arranged by a diary manager and typically consisting of a mix of tests and fittings. Visits usually last around an hour and a half, with three to six appointments on a typical day.
Working days are flexible. You will receive the equipment and audiometer needed for the role, and training may include up to six to eight weeks on the road with a qualified audiologist, depending on your experience. Mileage is paid for work-related travel, which must be recorded.
A company car may be available after a probationary period for someone considered to have long-term potential, with fuel paid.
