Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology have been instructed to recruit a domiciliary Audiologist for a territory in North West Manchester.

The role offers a basic salary of £30,000–£40,000, alongside an approximate £6,000–£7,000 car allowance, paid mileage and commission; the stated on-target earnings are £120,000.

It may suit an audiologist who enjoys community-based patient care and is motivated to develop a territory and earnings through their results.

About the Job

Around 90% of the role involves visiting patients in their homes to carry out hearing tests, fittings and associated services. You will manage a local territory, with appointments arranged by a diary manager and typically a mix of tests and fittings.

Visits usually last around an hour and a half, with three to six appointments on a typical day.

Working days are flexible.

Work-related journeys must be recorded, and mileage is paid where travel is required. The equipment and audiometer needed for the role are provided.

Depending on your experience, training may include six to eight weeks on the road with a qualified audiologist. A company car may also be available after a probationary period for someone considered to have long-term potential, with fuel paid.

About the Employer

Our client is a family-run audiology provider with longstanding experience in the sector. The business is looking to expand its operations and extend its reach into new areas, while continuing to focus on care delivered in patients’ homes.

This position offers the chance to contribute directly to the development of a local territory, with the independence and community contact that domiciliary work brings.

What We Are Looking For

The role calls for an audiologist who is comfortable carrying out hearing tests and fittings in patients’ homes, travelling within a territory and taking a sales-focused approach.

Strong experience and qualifications are valued and may support consideration towards the higher end of the basic salary range.

You should be able to manage appointments independently, maintain accurate records of work-related travel and provide considered care during home visits.

The position also calls for someone motivated by flexible working and commission linked to their performance.

Who This Role Suits

This opportunity may suit an audiologist ready to take greater ownership of their working day and build a territory through community-based care.

It could be a good next step for someone who values working directly with patients at home and is motivated by the potential to increase earnings through their results.

Job Location

The role is based in North West Manchester, with domiciliary appointments across the surrounding territory. The position involves regular travel to patients’ homes.
