Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit a Optical Practice Manager for an established optical practice in Putney. This is a confidential opportunity for a qualified, GOC-registered Dispensing Optician who is ready to lead colleagues, contribute to commercial performance and maintain attentive patient care. The salary is £41,525–£43,709, with a £5,000 welcome bonus.
Job Overview
As Practice Manager, you will take responsibility for the practice’s performance and team, balancing commercial goals with a positive experience for customers and patients. The role would suit a confident Dispensing Optician looking to develop their leadership career and take ownership of an established practice.
About the Job
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead, motivate and develop the practice team, encouraging a supportive working culture and setting a strong example. You will focus on delivering excellent customer service and patient experiences, while building relationships that help customers feel valued.
Commercial responsibility is an important part of the role. You will monitor performance, work towards targets and put strategies in place to support branch growth. The working rota alternates between Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off, and Monday to Friday.
The package includes a performance bonus scheme, staff discounts and a contribution towards gym or club membership, alongside the welcome bonus.
