Job Overview

Flame Health Audiology has been instructed to recruit an Audiologist for a domiciliary role in Leicestershire.

With a basic salary of £30,000, rising to £35,000–£40,000 for candidates with strong experience and qualifications, plus a car allowance of approximately £6,000–£7,000, paid mileage and commission

This role may suit an experienced audiologist who enjoys community-based care and is motivated to develop a local territory. The stated on-target earnings are £120,000.

About the Job

Around 90% of your work will involve home visits across your territory, delivering hearing tests, fittings and related services. A diary manager arranges appointments, which are typically a mix of tests and fittings. Visits usually take around an hour and a half, with three to six appointments on a typical day.

Working days are flexible. You will need to record journeys for mileage claims, and the necessary equipment, including an audiometer, is provided.

Depending on your experience, training may include six to eight weeks on the road with a qualified audiologist. A company car may be available after a probationary period for someone considered to have long-term potential; fuel is paid.

About the Employer

Our client is an established, family-run provider in the audiology sector, now looking to expand its operations and reach into new areas. Its service model centres on caring for patients in their own homes, offering an audiologist the chance to work directly within the community.

The role offers scope to take ownership of a local territory while contributing to its development. It may appeal to someone who values independence and wants to combine patient care with a commercially focused approach.

What We Are Looking For

You will be an audiologist comfortable carrying out hearing tests and fittings in patients’ homes, travelling throughout a territory and managing appointments independently. Strong experience and qualifications are valued, with the potential for a higher basic salary for candidates who can demonstrate them.

The role calls for a considered approach to patient care, accurate recording of work-related travel and a willingness to take a sales-focused approach.

Motivation to work flexibly and earn commission linked to performance will also be important.

Who This Role Suits

This role may suit an audiologist looking for greater ownership of their working day and the opportunity to develop a territory through community-based care.

It could be a good next move for someone who enjoys visiting patients at home and wants their results to contribute to their earnings.

Job Location

The role is based in Leicestershire, with domiciliary appointments across the surrounding territory. Leicester is the main location.
