Warehouse Operatives (Interim/Temporary)
Location: Hadfield – Tameside/Glossop border, SK13 Salary: Β£12.86 per hour + 10% Shift Allowance (Β£14.15 per hour) + Overtime
Contract: Full Time, Temporary (End date approx Jan 2026, 37.5 hours per week)
Shifts: Rotating 8-hour shifts (5:45-2:15 week 1, 14:00-23:00(Mon-Thu)/14:00 β 20:30(Fri) week 2)
Come and Join Us
Join our team at Flair Rugs as a Warehouse Operative during our peak period. You\’ll handle receiving goods, stock replenishment, order picking, packing, dispatching, returns, and FLT driving. Ensure customer orders are dispatched efficiently and on time.
At Flair Rugs, you\’ll get hands-on training from our great, experienced team, giving you the chance to really develop your skills while you work.
About You

- This role requires the wearing of personal protective equipment and handling of variable sizes/weights of product.

Main Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse activities accurately and promptly.
- Ensure goods match paperwork during loading/unloading.
- Store and rotate stock correctly.
- Report damaged or missing goods.
- Assist with inventory using a hand-held scanner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
