We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to turn demand into clear, achievable warehouse plans. This role ensures strong forward visibility, balanced resourcing and stable plans that support consistent execution and reduce last-minute change.
Responsibilities
- Turn forecast demand into clear daily and weekly plans, balancing workload, people and available space.
- Align workforce plans to expected demand, highlighting upcoming constraints in good time.
- Facilitate short-term planning reviews and provide early warning on pressures, options and impacts.
- Maintain stable, reliable plans by locking schedules within agreed timeframes and only adjusting when constraints significantly change.
- Work closely with operational leaders to agree priorities, surface constraints and ensure plans are executable.
Experience
- Hands-on planning experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics operation.
- Strong systems capability (WMS/ERP/planning tools).
- Practical understanding of labour, capacity and space constraints.
Skills
- Clear communicator – able to turn complex plans, risks and trade-offs into simple, actionable messages.
- Strong judgement – makes sound decisions when priorities compete and information is imperfect.
- Calm and adaptable – remains steady under pressure and adjusts plans quickly when conditions change.
- Collaborative influencer – works effectively across teams to align plans and gain commitment.
Contract: Full Time, 37.5 hrs
Onsite Working: We’re a 24/7 operation and the majority of the time will be around core business hours but you may need to flex depending on the needs of the operation.
