Our client is looking for a hands-on Product Manager to help manage and improve a portfolio of products and services within a regulated financial services environment. You will work closely with product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing and customer-facing teams to monitor product performance, deliver good customer outcomes and support continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a range of products and services, ensuring they continue to deliver value, growth and good customer outcomes.
- Monitor product performance using data, insight and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas of risk.
- Lead competitor and market research to inform product priorities and future enhancements.
- Act as a product subject matter expert, supporting product owners, delivery teams and business readiness activity.
- Support product governance, including reporting on customer outcomes, product performance, target market, value and risk.
- Work with technical, compliance and legal teams to ensure products, literature and customer communications remain accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide third-line product support to sales, operations and customer teams.
About you
- Experience in product management within financial services.
- Strong understanding of product governance, regulation, customer outcomes and product lifecycle management.
- Confident using data and insight to assess performance, identify trends and make recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across product, operations, compliance, technical, marketing and customer teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences.
- Organised and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A relevant degree or qualification in business, finance, marketing or product development would be beneficial.
