Our client, a well-established wealth management and investment firm, are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their Portfolio Management team. About the Role

  • As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation, oversight and ongoing alignment of discretionary portfolios across a broad client base.
  • Working within a collaborative and high-performing investment team, you will help ensure portfolios remain aligned with client objectives, risk profiles and evolving investment views.
  • You will undertake regular portfolio reviews, monitor portfolio risks and performance, and support the efficient execution of key cyclical activities such as tax management and investment account subscriptions.
  • The role requires a strong focus on governance, accuracy and regulatory compliance, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering excellent client outcomes.
  • Managing and overseeing discretionary portfolios to ensure alignment with client mandates and investment strategy.
  • Conducting regular portfolio reviews and implementing portfolio changes where required.
  • Monitoring portfolio risk, performance and deviations from agreed mandates.
  • Leading and supporting key portfolio management processes, including tax management and investment account activities.
  • Contributing to investment implementation projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting the development of portfolio management tools, governance frameworks and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensuring all portfolio activity is conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Investigating and resolving portfolio or operational issues where necessary.

  • Proven experience in discretionary portfolio management or investment implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment management principles.
