Our client, an award winning financial services firm, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage the Transfers & Payments team (including New Monies, SIPP & ISA Administration, and AML & Onboarding processes).
Your Responsibilities:- Take strategic ownership of processes across transfers, new monies, and related onboarding activities
- Maintain deep understanding of regulatory, risk, and control requirements
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Operations Executives, technical specialists and a small AML team (typically 8-13 direct/indirect reports)
- Oversee the accurate and timely allocation, reconciliation, and application of all new monies, transfers (on and off platform), and payments in line with internal controls, SLAs, and regulatory standards
- Ensure seamless and efficient client onboarding and fund application processes
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams in financial services operations within pensions (SIPP)
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Advanced Excel and data analytical skills for managing, tracking, and reporting on operational metrics
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills (internal/external)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to operational excellence and client focus
