Do you have proven experience leading or supervising teams in financial services operations within pensions? Do you have excellent leadership and people management skills?

Our client, an award winning financial services firm, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage the Transfers & Payments team (including New Monies, SIPP & ISA Administration, and AML & Onboarding processes).

Your Responsibilities:
  • Take strategic ownership of processes across transfers, new monies, and related onboarding activities
  • Maintain deep understanding of regulatory, risk, and control requirements
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Operations Executives, technical specialists and a small AML team (typically 8-13 direct/indirect reports)
  • Oversee the accurate and timely allocation, reconciliation, and application of all new monies, transfers (on and off platform), and payments in line with internal controls, SLAs, and regulatory standards
  • Ensure seamless and efficient client onboarding and fund application processes
Your Experience:
  • Proven experience leading or supervising teams in financial services operations within pensions (SIPP)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Advanced Excel and data analytical skills for managing, tracking, and reporting on operational metrics
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills (internal/external)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to operational excellence and client focus
